Favorite part of back to school shopping

Yep you got it right back to school time!!!!!!!!! Yippe! I love going back to school!

It gives you a fresh start! Your able to make new friends and check out their styles and get some new ideas for yourself. If you are like me and have to wear a uniform don't be bumed! What I like to do it express my personailty in other forms.....such as cool jewelry, nail polish, purses, and bags! This way I stay in line with my school rules but still have a touch of me in it! Check out Torrid's jewelry! I always have people asking......OH where did you get that?!?

Also divas keep in mind that eventhough it is still kinda hot outside Fall is just around the corner. I usually like to start shopping early for my jackets. I recently purchased the denim jacket and it fits like a glove! Its not too long and has a worn look that we all love!

Every girl I know carries a purse so also check out Torrid's makeup items. Always look your best and bring them with you because you never know when a photo opt will pop up! I know people should not judge you by the way you look on the outside but I feel like if we each respect ourselves on the inside it will show on the outside!

I wish all of yall a happy and wonderful school year! Shoot for the stars and NEVER let anyone step on your dreams. My new motto for this year will be:

My favorite 2009 Summer Trends

I can guarantee WHEREVER you live its HOT! This is why for my summer trend to showcase I've chosen..........shorts! Divas, if you have not tried on the basic shorts from Torrid you have no clue what your missing out on! I mean they are cool and hot at the same time! My favorite thing about them is the fall just right. They are not too long and not too short! I'm kinda short so usually when I find shorts I have to either wear them long or roll them up. But these are just right! Also they come in every hot summer color EVEN white! Yes, us larger size girls are allowed to wear white too ya know! LOL

Hey guys!

Sorry its been so long since I blogged but I had computer "issues"! Ugh! Anyway let me back track.....Torrid had a HUGE model search! I suggest entering! I had no clue I would EVER get picked! I was just walking around the Torrid store in Oakwood Mall when the clerk started following me around. At first I thought it was strange until she said hey are you in high school? And I was yes I sure am why? That is when she told me about the best thing ever that would change my life completely! I took home the application and filled it out and returned it back to the store. And guess what! I was the ONLY applicant from my hometown store! Can you believe this! I was shocked I was picked! Now that this whole thing has take off it has made me feel so good about myself. It was not all about the free cloths or make up it was about someone else thinking that the way I look was acceptable! Not everyone in this world is a size 0 but that does not mean the other people are not beautiful to look at. Now I have made so many friends from around the United States! Also I feel like I really belong a part of something because the representative from Torrid is always there for me. I have emailed her so much and she (Mrs Becky) is always there to help me. So its like one big Torrid family! I have included the handwritten card from Mrs Becky that came along with my first gift card. It ment alot to me that she took the time out to write every single one of us. Alot of people in this world just doesn't care anymore but with people like Mrs Becky, The Torrid Fashion panel Gals, and Everyone at the Torrid company and shops the world is becoming a better place.

Summer outings INSIDE!

Like ever true DIVA should have I ALWAYS have some drama with me! LOL In case you didn't guess it I love acting and I think a big part of wanting something is researching your compition! So what I like to do is go with friends or family to my local theatre productions. However, most of the other people that are acting like to do the same thing so if you were one dress Friday night to a show you very well can't wear it again the very next night! Also most of the shows require that you semi dress up! This is why Torrid's dresses work out perfect for me! I can wear a pair of heels with the dress to dress it up at night or during the day throw on a t-shirt under it with some tennis and look just as cute! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I was going to be a actress! But when I'm on stage I feel at peace like I am home after a big shopping spree at Torrid! Stars, Denim, and stripes!

So I'm alittle late with this posting however I must share with you divas what I wore for the 4th that was a BIG hit! I had a cute pair of blue city shorts (which were denim) with a cute red and white polka dot tank top. Well I picked up this cute denim jacket from Torrid just in case it got chilly outside and man did it tie my outfit all togther! I had the whole country girl look going on without looking babyish!

I had every color for the 4th represented! Red, White, and Blue! Plus I know I will get alot of use out of this jacket cause I tried it on with a sun dress I had on one day and it looked just as hot with the sundress paired with a pair of my converse!

Introduction Please!!!

I was SOOOOOOOO excited about posting my first blog that I totally forgot to introduce myself to all you Torrid Lovers out there!



I'm your typical girlie girl! I love fun fashion. Expressing myself through my cloths is one way I love fashion. The problem with me is I go to private school YESSSSS which means the dreaded UNIFORMS! LOL. So whenever I have the chance to dress in regular street cloths I like to go all out. Alot of my friends say I like to dress up too much but hey I dress for myself to make myself happy and show myself......hey self I respect you! Also my passion in life is acting/singing. I love love love to participate in musicals. Believe it or not sometimes I will get some fashion tips from costumes from one of my plays. For instance I recently did a play called: "Back To The 80's" well I still wear some of my costumes pieces from that play today. I've learned how to take what was in style back then and make it work with my outfits today.



I was just shopping at Torrid one day when the sales girl asked me if I wanted to participate in a High School Model Search. This is how I found out about the contest! Never in my wildest dreams did I EVER think I was going to be picked! What a great opportunity this is going to be and what great friends I've made around the world already.
